The Heart of What We Do

Have you heard about particular resources for Veterans but don’t know how to access them? Are you interested in finding out what you and your family are entitled to?

The VSRG brings to local Veteran communities a wide array of medium and large businesses, universities, government agencies and Veteran service organizations, all of which provide services or employment opportunities for Veterans and their families. We have learned that many Veterans struggle to connect with all of the resources in their local communities; the VSRG combats this issue by bringing together in one day all of the resources necessary for personal and professional success.

See some of our Event Participants below:

Admission for Veterans, National Guard/Reserves, Active Duty, Spouses, Caregivers and additional family is FREE. We believe that no Veteran should have to pay for access to existing resources.

We are also very excited to announce that VSRG has teamed with Dun & Bradstreet to feature an “Access to Capital” program for Veteran Entrepreneurs at each of our events:

Dun & Bradstreet’s Access to Capital Lender Matchmaking

Dun & Bradstreet will host an Access to Capital session*, bringing together Veteran Entrepreneurs with an array of small business lenders.  The breakout session will begin with a panel of industry experts, followed by a spotlight presentation on the basics of business credit by Dun & Bradstreet.   We will conclude with an opportunity for attendees to sit down with a range of traditional and alternative small business lending institutions.  Attendees will also have access to their free Dun & Bradstreet credit report** to take with them during the 1:1 lender meetings.

In addition, VSRG is offering two new programs at each of our events:

Supplier Diversity Matchmaking

A customized matchmaking program that benefits both large businesses and Veteran Owned, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The matchmaking will focus on current available opportunities from large and medium size businesses. INCREDIBLE GROWTH OPPORTUNITY!

Federal Government Teaming & Matchmaking Opportunities

Govmates matchmakers, Stephanie Alexander and Katie Bilek, have built a robust, proprietary database of small and emerging government contractors, all of which seek teaming partners to bid on opportunities. In partnership with VSRG, Govmates is excited to offer matchmaking for SDVOSB’s and VOSB’s within the federal contracting community. These one-on-one sessions will provide valuable insights into how to work with large primes and offer potential teaming opportunities.
