We are both Post-9/11 Veterans who served in Iraq at a time when the insurgency was at its most powerful level. Although we were both seriously injured, we took advantage of the resources around us and became Veteran entrepreneurs. However, we noticed that many of our fellow Veterans and their families are struggling in many aspects of their lives. And we also noticed that this is not due to a lack of resources, but because of a lack of collaboration and coordination. The internet can be a loud and noisy space, and therefore we provide local Veteran Resource Expos, free of charge, so that our brothers and sisters can find the resources they need close to their own homes.
Veterans and their families can come to our events and connect with a wide variety of organizations and institutions that can support them with any issues related to employment, education, health, housing and business. And based on our particular backgrounds, we have now partnered with Dun & Bradstreet to provide a host of entrepreneurship resources, including access to capital, business plan competitions and matchmaking opportunities and with medium and large businesses.
If you or a loved one are looking for some sort of support, you will find it at our Veteran Resource Expos.
